BLACKBOX THEATRE

The Avenue Blackbox Theatre is where the cool kids (of all ages) come to play. A Black founded and led, inclusive, fully accessible, queer space where social justice and art converge to create dynamic stage productions, installations and live art-making events for and by us.

Our focus is on honoring and uplifting BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ voices, art and issues while reducing barriers to arts experiences for all. Your patronage supports building community that elevate voices from the margins, makes space for their art and real time community transformation.
