The heart and soul of our community literacy initiative to foster a love of books, reading and storytelling with Black and Brown families citywide! We do this with free culturally-relevant book giveaways, games & prizes for reading on site, visiting community readers, and the Rochester Black Storytelling League who bring... THE STORIES! 2nd Sunday Storytime is free and lovingly sponsored by the Leah Lozano Memorial Endowment for the Avenue Children's Theatre Project, The Awesome Foundation and dozens of "Book Angels" who donate dozens of books monthly!
